Final week of talks, Tuesday thoughts

Today saw the final round of talks for the Tuesday class and again, the topics were varied: brain injury awareness, breast cancer, cervical cancer, prescription drugs (addiction), Autism Awareness and Lung Cancer.


Well done to the six presenters in attendance who provided the audience with lots of information.


As I have requested each week, I would like all the presenters today to reflect in the comments section below.

    I thought todays presentations where great and delivered well by all! lots of information about various subjects and it was clear that everyone was passionate about there topic for one reason or another. really enjoyable session and valuable feed back gained

      Good comments Suzanne and I'm sure everybody learned something about their own strengths and where improvements can be made for future deliveries. I'm glad the feedback helped.

    The quality of all the presentations was by far the best I've seen since starting college. The guidance given beforehand helped everyone improve. I'm sure we can all take something from the comments and improve even further in the future.

    Thanks Vikki. Of course the input from me helps, and the editing by e mail on a one to one basis, but crucially, it's the students who do the research and deliver the talks. At that point all I can do is assess. So your comment is really valuable and you've identified the progress that students are making which is great. I've also been pleased that many of you from both classes are reflecting that confidence is on the up, which coming to the business end of the course as it were, is delightful to hear! Well done everybody and thanks for your insightful comments.
